<<The phone is muted, the smoke alarm has a dead battery, the only sound is Leicester lying to his son. On the upside Houston is unlikely to remember much of it so he can continue thinking it's Going To Be Okay if your parent tells you so until his 30s. And it's not a bad state of mind to be in, if you ask me.
I guess I'm back to making comics. Really this was sitting on my computer half-coloured for ages while life was getting real and hardcore. But yeah, back to it now.

I take the smoke alarm batteries off 90% of the time because it starts ringing even when I cook pasta (most of my meals really)(because I only eat pasta). These things have almost killed my bf by the way ; startled while eating, food stuck in his windpipe, he was alone and saved by his neighbourgs who heard him bang the walls while falling, trying to get help. Sorry for that extremely funny anecdote ! Now you get why I hate them 
I hope Leicester manages to stop that fire. Not a good day but still a better day than having your house burn down, I guess. Can Houston's seizures get worse ? since you say his dad is lying

We don't have many smoke alarms here (I'm not sure if my tower bloke has any actually because everyone and their mother smokes near thee lifts) but yeaaah, I always imagine them being annoying. And woah, those things are supposed to SAVE lives, not endanger people!
Well, his dad is lying in a general way most parents lie... He would call an ambulance if he suspected seizures continuing though. This is tl;dr and doesn't come up in the comic but Leicester is such a mess mostly because his wife is the one seeing most of Houston's seizures since she stays with him more and because Houston's seizures got worse with puberty - which is how to often goes (really, everything gets worse with puberty) but still stressful for his parents and all.

They've become mandatory everywhere like 2 years ago here and it's a fucking PAIN IN THE ARSE to speak politely. I see it must save lives but still, they go off so fucking often it's a nightmare. Especially when the people putting them up decide to put them right over the kitchen wall. Really ? THEY GO OFF WHEN I COOK PASTAΒ
Yeah I figured Leicester is not the kind to NOT call an ambulance if things get worse. When you say it got worse with puberty, does it mean it will stay worse or get better afterwards because puberty is just a big mess ? Just curious I know it depends on what thing we're talking about.Β

Hurray! I've been waiting for another page and I have to say, this new coloured linework is veeery impressive, I love that the coloured lines, particularly on flesh, give a nice softness, very nice, and well worth the wait.
Things just keep going from bad to worse - all he needs now is the fire brigade to show up and fine him for wasting their time (because knowing his luck, they'd be prompt to respond - ultra prompt)
