Chamba beat me to putting up Go Hibiki art on dA, but here is a page where he first appears in all his glory. Originally I had to alrter the design and keep aspects of the Tengu mask and other source pics.I honestly can say Go Hibiki is my favourite male character. He is everything Dan should and could have been.
I will try to post some of my concept pics i did of him if you like.

He sure looks like a lot like Heihachi Mishima, but that could just be me. Also, good job at making Dan look younger as he should given when this takes place!

The fourth panel kinda comes out of nowhere in the sequence. I'm confused with the camera movement.

Kickass art man. I'd love to see concept art for the senior Hibiki, and I'm guessing so will a couple of other people at DA.
However, I respectfully disagree with what you said about Dan. There is a certain... er... feeling... that comes from escaping a level 3 Sho-Ryu-Reppa with a rolling taunt, or finishing an opponent with an Otoko Michi/Jun Koku Satsu, or seeing the face of some Shoto-Scrub who lost to a meticulously timed Ga-Dou-Ken, or starting a Chohatsu Densetsu j-u-s-t as the timer counts down to zero; that is only possible while playing as Dan.
