I've almost completely forgotten where I grabbed the base image from. I want to say it was concept art for either Deus Ex, Deus Ex 2, or one of the MechWarrior games...Anyway, I saw this image one day while browsing around, and had the urge to play around with it in Photoshop for a bit. After fiddling with it for about an hour, I decided I'd try and make it look like a display screen from something like a security camera. So a couple of scanlines, overlays, a color dodge, and a bit of video interference later, and this was the result. The only problem was, I couldn't really figure out where to go from here. So it kinda died off.
But it's stil cool, so I uploaded it.

It reminds me heavily of the Cybrid Goad from StarSiege. I just tried looking for images of it on yahoo and it seems the game's so old I can't find a picture anymore. Yours is a more technology feel then bio mechanical look of the Crybrid Goad.

Wait... what Idea did I send you a while back? I have completely forgotten. The last time I memorized a comment exchange was when sashamaya and balade were trying to behead me for accidentally mixing up balade and someone stealing his art for each other... long story short, I nearly DIED. So, I don't maintain too many megabytes of recorded conversations in my brain... if it can be measured in megabytes... you're going to loling and rofling and imaoing or whatever, I can just imagine. Heh.

Oh, that's okay. I understand. Marathon was that pixeled, ancient Bungie game, right? There's a place you can download it from and play it on our "modern" Windows systems, but I never got it to run. Oh well.
