Here's Mr. Barracuda-butt. Having been on the front lines of two separate wars, he's a little aesthetically damaged, but he wears his scars and burns with pride.
He also makes good muscle practice cuz he's not a thin pretty-boy like the other two.

I love how you've managed to make each design so perfectly distinct from each other, and again your choice of mer-component is inspired. Β My favortie thing this time, though, are the colors; that stark red/dark-gray color scheme is just so immediately and powerfully arresting, visually, and it's really well-rendered to boot. Β Add on top of that Nerion's fantasticallyΒ handled build (you can just feel power radiating off of him) and the great thought and detail you put into his scars and torn fins, ad you've got a real winner.

Oh man I like your mers. Definitely digging the red/black/silver color scheme for this one.
That this one has some battle scars adds a nice bit of character, I like how it fits with his background story. And I think you've done a pretty good job on the muscles (though admittedly my eye for these things isn't good yet, it's also something I need to practice more).Β
Bit of a tangent but barracuda look pretty scary. Still, it's always neat spotting them while snorkeling...Β

NOOOO. No, I have not. >_>; Not counting aquariums. When we went snorkeling we saw all kinds of fish, including rays, but true sharks and barracuda were not in evidence.

The bulk and tones to this guy are amazing. He has so many scars and tatters it seemed excessive at first, but then I read that he was in two wars and it made more sense. Black and red always look good together and I very much enjoy the muscles. ^^

Ohh yeah, he's been stabbed, slashed, scratched, bitten, and burned with magic. Guy's been through a lot, didn't always come out in great shape, but he's still swimming!

He he! They were Nikki's idea. The character was due for an overhaul, he's actually a revamp of a much older one.

Another excellent mer folk here, I love the choice of fish that he is but I also love the whole battles carred look that he has
Also the muscle look great too! not too muscly for my tastes but not too thin to not convey that he is muscly.
I also adore the weapon he has there, the design looks so beautiful but certainly looks like it can deal some very nice damage mwahaha >: 3

but no.. tattery things ARE so much fun to draw! it was one of the things I enjoyed about drawing Kragok, because he has such a tattery robe! 8D. But I do find there seems to be a bit of a difference drawing convincing tattered flesh compared to tattered cloth.
I nice and sturdy blade that needs to be used under water which I imagine can weigh things down too D:.

I really have. I know like all things it'll pass as a phase but right now I'm having so much friggin' fun RPing these guys. I let Nikki pick his body colors (black hair and metallic-like-a-fishy eyes were non-negotiable as I'd already described them as such to several people.)
Yeah, he's my big boy. I'm proud of myself that I actually conveyed it this time, I've never really been able to draw muscular things. But hey, with enough references and Halloween candy, I think I kinda pulled off what was actually in my head for once! And I didn't want to go for the old-fashioned true trident thing. Didn't seem Nerion's speed. Also they don't make much sense because they easily get caught in your enemy's body. Not a good thing in a heated battle with multiple threats. The head twists when in motion too, so water resistance won't make it so clumsy. I REALLY OVERTHINK MY FICTIONAL STABBY-STICKS.

While there are exceptions (Megaman/Megaman X being one of them because I can't freaking draw it) what I'm drawing and how happy I am drawing it is often directly related to what I'm playing and how much I'm enjoying it. c: My hobbies are intertwined. Like some kind of time-wasting Voltron.

Oh man, I adore Megaman, so yeah.. X_X; I feel your pain there, as it is enjoyable, but I also kinda just suck at the style for one and for 2, androids seem to be a weakness all together for me in terms of making them look decent.

For me it's anything inorganic. Vehicles, buildings, armor. The less organic it is the more I mess it up.

Oh yes. Been working on some girls too. Plus an adorbz baby. Problem is, Nikki's turned on to other things right now and hasn't planned out her half of it enough so I've been test-running them on the SOOPER SIKRIT account. To mixed results. Got two promising ones, everyone else I've had to gently let go after an arc or two. v.v
