Description This one is hard to explain. I started working on it envisioning a giant alien bird whose neck vertebrae evolved into complex structures that could cast a deep, melodic flute-like noise for hundreds of miles. I might still draw that. This guy just sort of took shape.

I imagine it might have evolved on a planet extremely high in oxygen content and temperature and low in gravity. Here, the arthropods left the water but managed to stay the dominant species, fishing the rivers and oceans and lakes where vertebrates thrived but stayed in the water. The arthropod life here thrived for so long that it eventually developed its own form of vertebral structure, neural complexity, and circulatory organization separate from the lines our ancestors followed.

Anyway, picture. It beez.
