Jack:"You..you can see me?"

Merida:"Aye, why wouldn't I...?"

Jack:"..Well, you...-ahem- you can...put that bow down, I'm not going to hurt you."

Merida:"And how'am I ta'know that? Bouncing from tree to tree like a lost wee rabbit after me..."

Jack:"I didn't know you could see me..."

Merida:"As I heard before, now if yer quite done fallander'n about how clever ya think ya are perhaps you could answer why you were follow'n me?"

Jack:"I was just...I don't see people this far out into the black wood, no girls anyway.."

Merida:"You're this far out, in not but those rags to shield you from winters bite, who're you to be question'n?"

Jack:"I'm used to the cold..."

Merida:"You're mother know your out here this late, or do ya live round here?"

Jack:"I..I don't really belong anywhere...I just go where I can, where I'm not a bother..sometimes.."

Merida:"Just you by yourself..?"

Jack:"Now, does YOUR mother know your out here so late, or do you live around here?"

Merida:"I- can't see how it's any of you're business!"

-Jack swung his leg from the tree branch, sitting down comfortably-

Jack:"I answered respectfully, now it's your turn.."

Merida:"You're a very nimble thing aren't ya?"

Jack:"I stay on my toes, so are you, those were some swift moves you had there, i was surprised.."

Merida:"Oh cause I'm a girl?"

Jack:"Not at all, I'm impressed, not many girls are as...well "nimble" as you.."

Meirda:"I'm not like many girls.."

-Jack nodded his agreement to that with the same smirk she'd seen on him when she flashed her arrow at him. She couldn't help but allow a smile to curl her own lips slightly-

Merida:"If you'll be straight with me, I'll be so with you frost top..."

Jack:"Well alright, carrot top."

Merida:"I'm not supposed to be out here...I'm seeing if I can find the beast..." -she said the last part in a hushed tone-

Jack:"Beast?"

Merida:"Aye, eyes like blue fire, the power of a blizard in his jaws like a dragon..."

Jack:"You believe in him then...?"

Merida:"Aye, enough to know that me friend isn't a liar."

Jack:"Just you?"

Merida:"I'm all I need, i'm the only one who'll believe her, or have the nerve or concern to see for me self..."

Jack:"That's brave of you."

Merida:"Thank ya frost top, now as for you, why were ya really following me?"

-Jack leaned on his walking stick-

Jack:"You wan't the honest truth. Your hair."

Merida half chuckled:"Me hair?"

Jack:"It looked like fire..."

Merida:"Me father said that."

Jack:"I wanted a closer look so, i followed you."

Merida:"And i so cleverly spotted you."

Jack:"Not many people can spot me. No matter how much i try.."

Merida:"You try?"

-Jack stepped off of the branch suddenly without disturbing a flake of snow and stepped onto mid air as if it were steps-

-Merida fell over into the snow flailing at the sight-

Merida:"Bless me! What in the worl-.!?!"

-Jack put his hands up, leaving his stick to float in mid air next to him-

Jack:"I'm not what you'd call human..."

Merida:"Are ya some kind of sprite?!"

Jack:"You could call it that..."

Merida:"Who are you?!"

Jack:"Well to see me means you already know my name, I'm Jack Frost..."
