"We nearly didn't make it out tonight. I owed Perry my life...again, but he still felt guilty, as if he were responsible. To be fair, I did feel as though I was owed some sort of explanation. It’s funny, I’d always known he wasn’t JUST a transfer detective. But with who we’d gone up against, I knew he was on the right side, and trusted me enough to let me help.

He took me down to his basement he was always vanishing to, and showed me everything.

He showed me how Zootopia wasn't the only place hit like this. Countless other cities and worlds were affected by the absence of a "catalyst" as he called them.

Catalysts were little way points, or objects of power that now connected worlds to each other, or separated them.

Just like Perry’s world and mine. He hadn't been home, or known where it was for almost 6 months. He'd been bravely helping people along the way while trying to get back to his own.

Perhaps more terrifying was knowing there were characters powerful enough to tip this in their favor; Harbringers. Individuals who knew exactly what had happened and how, when a world merging occurred with them in it, what's more, they knew where to find the Catalyst it hinged on.

The one illusive lead, he and his contact named "The Question" had, was that whatever started this schism in the first place had to do with a being named...BILL.

Perry was with a band set on finding them first, whoever controlled the Catalysts, controlled everything, and everywhere. They could be an emerald like the one stolen from a Museum, or a wand, or 6 stones from space, or a Grail, or note book from the afterlife...regardless, they were everywhere, and time was running out.

I wanted to help in a big way...well now literally every single world was in jeopardy and evidently the one who knew about it needed my help, no pressure...."

This is the first of some explanations as to how and why the worlds are merging, and this crossover is happening.

This is what took place the night before all of this.

Perry and Judy Hopps of Zootopia PD have been after a green hedgehog possessing incredible power that stole a gem of immense power from the museum.

Perry got a notification from his contact back in Bludhaven (The Question) that L made it out alive with his friends, but that the rest of his team was in peril. The enemy thankfully didn't get the yellow infinity stone that L had on his person the entire time,

But did get the one of space which they used to go wherever they wanted with ease, and get the drop on the heroes, and hence the Unlikely Fall.
