"That was foolish." Kuvira said simply.

"Breaking stealth for a kill shot on me, without knowing the full extent of my capabilities first."

Azula just looked up at her from her forced kneeling position on the studded metallic floor. Her face was still, unimpressed, smug, she wouldn't give this woman the satisfaction of acknowledging her with respect.

"I read you're sheet, you've been quite the defective lab rat." She said walking around her. "From here it says that you're intelligence and aptitude margins are to scale...so I know you were distracting me from something in the battlefield..."

Azula's face was unchanged, but Kuvira'd hit on it. It was a calculated risk Azula took, what was annoying her was she was having a hard time remembering what the risk was for...her mind was in a fog still aside from the situation she was in right now.

"It also indicates you're a very effective liar and ambitious sneak...which begs to question why they'd allow you on their team even after you turned coat for them." Kuvira said stopping in front of her. Her posture and tone was military, and rigid.

Azula smirked now, "Typically I prefer my stalkers to be more attractive..."

Kuvira suddenly lifted something from behind her with her magnetism to orbit her closer to Azula in the light...it was Jason's cracked open helmet.

Azula felt an involuntary flaring, and if she had fire bending to use, a spark would've escaped her mouth. But of course none came out. As she breathed heavily , she felt a chip on her chest, she knew to be a device of Wesker's.

Good news was if she had it on, her powers were hampered but not gone. Bad news was that the only reason Wesker would allow her to keep them after her betrayal was if he intended to use her later down the line....and her free will was no less than likely.

Kuvira was now the one to slightly smirk, it disgusted Azula to her core, somehow it came off more snarky yet professional than hers.

Kuvira:"Was this why...you took that risk? To give him time?" her tone was still even and military, but it was laced with victory, it made Azula sick.

Azula glanced over Kuvira's shoulder, she knew she felt like someone else was watching her. Sure enough there he was, that half-masked Assassin, Deathstroke, just leaning against a crate in the darkness.

Kuvira suddenly flexed her fingers and metal jumped off her arms, and turning into a ballbearing, hit Azula across her face like a punch, another one did the same but to her gut, and two more to her face again, until there were 4 little satellites revolving around her along with the helmet.

Azula hissed, and bucked and coughed from the hits hanging her head, then felt sharp metal like a knife under her chin, making her lift her head to look up at Kuvira.

Azula:"Are you really that imbecilic? Of course I was using them, and him-..."

Kuvira made the metal ball, now turned razor blade arch causing her to lift her chin painfully up, and she felt her restraints lifting her off the ground in an uncomfortable way.

Kuvira:"Naturally, which leads me to why did you do it then, what were you protecting?"

Azula's mind was racing nearly as fast as her blood was boiling. Why had she? She'd always known things between her and the "Hood" were merely pleasurable benefits. She got into this whole mess because she resolved to survive...she came from a world where no one had place for her.

Her brother had rightfully branded her a traitor to the crown, and her own father had used her fragile mental state to use her to assassinate her mother she thought was dead. She was used to being used, and was not eager to have it done to her again, which is why despite the benefits she felt the need to break from Wesker's ranks as if out of defiance against life's treatment of her itself.

So why take such a stupid risk, for that psychotic gun slinger in the heat of the moment...?
