Flames licked the sky, from a steeple of a Cathedral, turned pier.

Inside two figures lay pinned to the burning ground, enchanted swords and arcane pikes shoved into them , preventing them from moving.

Ghost Rider feebly reached out towards X-23 against the numbing pain, making him black out. But he wouldn't, he wouldn't lose consciousness, he wouldn't forget her, he wouldn't lose her....he wouldn't forget what she meant to him. He couldn't let her go because he'd blindly walked into a trap.

Across from him X-23 lay motionless, her hand unmoving from where it had once reached out to him in vain. "P-please..." he choked out, "Don't close your eye's...don't go to sleep....don't leave..."

Meanwhile two other figures literally Waltzed amongst the flames jumping up from the floors and walls, in a simple, beautiful circle.

"It's rather tragic..." Cinder admitted smiling, "They nearly reached each other before they gave out..."

Hans of the Southern Isles smiled down at her, "Simply Romantic..." he agreed with an almost genuine looking face of remorse before grinning again.

The music of the self playing clockwork organ continued to play soft, melodic music as the entire cathedral burned the brighter around them.

Ghost Rider:"Laura....."

He saw her watering eyes begin to droop "LAURA!"
