Description
Jason Todd has pursued the assassin Red X deep into Umbrella's new facility where they are boosting the effect of of the Animus Machine. Jason goes after Red X after fleeing a scene where he could've killed Hit-girl but didn't. He finds him in a simulation buffer and talks him down from going further into his psyche, convinced he can still come back from where he was.

He thinks Deadpool, "an undeserving cad, possessing a gift that a real warrior would give his soul for." Approves of Winter Soldier, crushes on Hitgirl, is thankful to Red Hood but refuses to show his appreciation for being saved by him due to the blow to his pride it was. Gets the vibe to just not even talk to Rorschach, and is honestly curious how Haruhi pulls side arms out of seemingly nowhere

Uh... some of it.
I'm a bit of a jerk towards that show. I often accuse it of stealing elements from Batman and making Green Arrow too serious.
Despite this, I'm aware it is a very well written and directed show.

AND as much as Arrow is mootching off of the Tone of the Batman (movies) more than anything, it is very well done, and that shouldn't be held against them to much, i mean where else are you going to take the show in a way that works.
I mean I always roll my eyes at various parts that aren't even trying to be subtle but the characters are well grafted and I can't say that they aren't going for originality with them. If anything they've Taken Green Arrow to a place I've always wanted him where it makes sense that him and Batman worked together from time to time without me laughing my ass off at it.

It can't be more cartoony than any Batman cartoon show. Aside from maybe Batman the Animated series. But that show was super grown up for a cartoon.
