This is the single most useful tutorial I have come across in my life - and I've gone through a lot of tutorials.
I've been using the smudge tool for a long time, always getting awful effects on my digital paintings because I had no idea how to blend with a brush. This has helped a lot. Thank you so much!

I just tried your tutorial (soft blending) and combined it with my old style and I love it! I always had to use the smudge tool before (boo), but never again!!! I never thought wet edges could make it look so nice. Very awesome tut.

This will be very helpful once I start digital coloring this summer, and it's nice to see how different colors work together to create shadows. Thanks!

This is a very helpful tutorial!
So, you can use this blending technique when painting skin, clothes, or anything else on an art piece, correct? Sorry if it's a lame question; I'm still new to painting.
