Rakesh is a large and powerful tiger who has been a part of Pride Shemu for many years. He earned his reputation as Rakesh the Fierce by proving his strength and fighting prowess in battles against rival prides. When King Ur the Great needed a new vizier, Rakesh stepped up to fill the role, impressing the king with his quick thinking and strategic mind.
Outside of Pride Shemu, Rakesh met a tigress with whom he had a son, Cyrus. Though the tigress chose not to join the pride, Rakesh raised Cyrus to be a strong and capable feline, instilling in him the values of leadership and physical strength. Cyrus now serves as a noble in the pride, with a reputation as a skilled hunter and warrior.
Rakesh's ambition to climb the ranks and prove his worth as a leader has always been a driving force in his life. He has acted as a stand-in leader for Pride Shemu in times when King Atlanersa was not able to perform his duties, earning the loyalty and respect of many felines in the pride.
