Zyra's assignment for Season 1, Quest #2

Featuring Zyra and Khol (group NPC)

Zyra had been working on this strange construction project for what felt like weeks now, and was finally getting the hang of things. What to do, who to talk to, how to talk to others...it was a lot to take in, but it was exciting and she enjoyed it- despite the looks and disregarded way other responded to her for being a hybrid. There wasn't anything she could do about that, so she chose to ignore it. What she could control though, was how well she worked and made a name for herself. The concept of constructing a structure much as humans did was something that felt confusing and very foriegn to her- and indeed many friendly felines she spoke to felt the same. But Zyra felt in awe of Kohl, the Pride Shemu crafter in charge of the operation. She was confident, both in her skills and knowing what needed to be done next, and the hybrid began to wonder if she could ever reach that level of profiecenty with anything. She began to approach the leopard more often to ask questions about just how something was to be done and why, so she could better understand how things worked at a deeper level. Kohl was always very patient with her, for which Zyra was relieved, and even began to seek her out to show Zyra new things she may enjoy learning, and Zyra began to wonder how long it had been since Pride Shemu had had another crafter with whom she could share her expertise and passion.
