I was inspired by your work, so I made my own (but different) slime animation! Thank you! ^^

You're welcome! ^^ I'll be using the slime sprites I made for a Classic Mega Man fan game. Weird, I know, because generally in Mega Man games, you tend to fight only robots.
Now I have to figure out how to make the slimes believably not be an alien life form nor a form of magic but rather the product of the technology of Mega Man's world... Hm...maybe the slimes are tangible holograms? Sort of like Alien from Mega Man 2 (NES), like Gemini Man's twin, or like the Shadow Mega Men from Mega Man 9? Hm, I think that's a good idea.

I already made the sprites for it. But I'm sure by the point the fan game is supposed to take place in terms of the timeline in relation to the other games, my fan game's supposed to take place after all the canon Mega Man games (thought it would probably be before Mega Man Unlimited, if considering fan games).
Thanks. ^^
