Soundwave's portrayal in both the games and other related media for the aligned continuity really highlights the fact they clearly weren't suppose to be the same universe. Really it comes across as someone at Hasbro doing "Hey all this stuff is connected!"

What's funny is that I listened to Soundwave's recordings a couple times and if you listen closely, you can actually hear his normal voice.

Likely when the next guys get the series, and we don't get something always trying to be seriously epic and badass with every episode.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the mute button imposed on Soundwave, true, he was never a huge chatterbox before, but he had one of the most memorable and distinct voices of the original decepticons, and he had a voice in war for cybertron too....Can't help but wonder if the reason why he and Bumblebee don't have voices is because they didn't wanna spend more money on voice actors or something
I still love how he pretty much pwns everyone who's ever crossed him, including that Blackarachnia knockoff Airachnid >8D
