Am I blind or something, but the 'Download curves pack' link in the comment of the tutorial, leads me to the Photoshop curves pack image on your page on DA. No Zip file...

I see that link, but you mentioned some zip files in the tutorial, so I expected something like that.
The only thing I see on the link are the examples of the curves applied.

But, I just have one question though...I have photoshop CS3, and for some reason I can't load any of the curve files that I downloaded...I don't get the load button when I go to edit the curves for my image.
Help? XD

I know, I would love to use these curves, but my stupid-butt Photoshop won't let me load them.
But it recognizes the file-type...sooo...I dunno.

I had the same problem but i found the solution...When you open the curves window next to Preset: None on the right there is a small icon showing 3 bullets and a downwards arrow...Press on that and you will find Load Preset...

I would like to say thank you for posting this and the curves packet. I've always admired your work and loved the colors of your images.
This has given me a jumping off point for experimenting with curves (which I had never tried before) and new found inspiration. Not to mention new life for otherwise ignored images.

Hello there!
I very much appreciate your creation of this tutorial, but I was wondering if you've ever considered doing a tutorial on the actual process of using curves to process your work. I know it must differ a bit for every photo, but as an artist, I'd much rather gain a bit of insight into any basic methods you use than to download a ready-made process. I love that vintage look you get, and I've often wondered how it's done!

Oh sweetie, there really isn't much to it.
Everything i posted here, is exactly how i do it, nothing more
Just do this step by step and then adjust the img however you wish too "levels or brightness&contrast"

But, I have photoshop elements 7.0 and I could'nt open the .acv files. Have you any idea how i could fix it? Or, is it juste that i can't use them with PSE7?

hum... i don't know sweetie. I have photoshop CS2 and elements 3 i think. Let me try it on there, if i can't open them their... then i guess they don't work
