aww thx for your tips!!! they're really interesting^^ I'll try to follow all this steps next time I'll retouch a photo.
The most interesting part was the step 3, when you transform a bluish-photo to a white-yellowish one that looks so natural. My photos always looks so greyish or blue & I'm so afraid to retouch them with Photoshop, because they always end looking so burned :/

No problem dear!
well just try going to color balance and see what looks good with the photo. It might loo burned because you probably add to much contrast to it. Sometimes keeping it simple and light can be a good choice!

The last part of this is really interesting. I'll have to test it out on some photos!
Except... I just have Paint.Net, but it does alot of stuff that PS will! I haven't compared the quality of it to PS, though.
Are you familiar with it?

hum.. no i tried downloading it once before i got photoshop but something went wrong so i never got to try it out
otherwise just expirement see what works and what doesnt, im sure it's pretty nifty when you uncover all that it can do

The techniques you've presented here are really quite invaluable to a post processing workflow, in my opinion. I had no idea just how much awesomely different an image could look after a few simple adjustments are made. Neat Image also looks really cool; I've been looking for a noise reduction filter like that one for a while now and it looks like it does what it's supposed to very well!
I will definitely be using your techniques in the near future (and crediting you, of course); thank you!

Oh thank you
im just glad i could help
Yes neat image is very good! just the only problem i have encountered with it was that if the image is large, it will only reduce noise for 1024x768px of the actuall image. but i guess thats just the free version lol.
anyway good luck! Oh you dont have to! i don't own these techniques, so go ahead and use them without worrying!
