Fun fact: According to Pixel, the reason why King is stronger and more violent than other Mimigas, and why he has red eyes, is because he ingested cooked red flowers. Apparently, cooking red flowers weakens their effect, allowing King to stay relatively sane while also being stronger, kinda like how you can boil water to purify it.

Sorry if I was going off of something unreliable, but, even so, it would explain why King has red eyes, why he's the only Mimiga, besides an enraged one, that is shown having any sort of combat abilities, and why he would threaten Toroko when she flees.

I always think that Arthur was studying red flower and that's the reason he's the strongest mimiga.
But he's killed before he can finish his experiment. King is one of volunteer subjects.
There IS a way to consume them, getting power without sacrificing sanity, but the Doc got it wrong.

I don't think the Doctor got it wrong, I think it was all part of his plan. If the Mimigas got the strength from the flowers, but didn't go insane, they would turn against the Doctor, ruining his plan. He knew Arthur was going to remove the insanity side-effect, and killed him before he could finish it, thus preventing a Mimiga revolt.

if you want to get thru hell, get past the second room and drop down to the right to refill health and fly back up and then down as many times as you need to get full health then continue avoid spikes and the most effective weapon against the giant lazer dude is the nemesis just spam the nemesis until the screen starts to shake, get out of the way then jump down the hole. go to the statue chamber and destroy the statues for free health/missles/exp then go fight ballos.
