Thank you so much! You're artwork has been incorporated into a Doctor Who decoupage lampshade (created solely for the enjoyment of those who see it and NOT for sale).

Ah, the good ol' TARDIS
Could use a splash of blue though, right?

Thanks - the Doctor's most faithful companion, I think!

That's certainly what I was speculating Caan meant after The Stolen Earth...

It would've made more sense! I think you can even argue that Rose is more loyal than Donna -- what with being willing to give up her family and rip through the boundary between universes to be with the Doctor...

It's the TARDIS!! Wonderful job on this one.
I've just been kind of wondering-- do you use photographs for reference when you draw or do it all from memory? I'm just kind of curious is all.

I rarely work from memory to be honest. Ususally I try to use DVD stills of my own as reference, which also goes someway to capture the (human) pictures in a more natural pose than would be the case from a publicity shot.
Thanks for your words, my friend!

Ahhh, I see. I tend to work the same way as much as possible, using "screen-captures" and candid photos and such, although sometimes I have to make do with publicity shots.
You're welcome. I forget if I've said this before or not, but I really like your style and am something of a fan of your work so far. Cheers!

Well thank you very much - it makes my old heart glad to hear it
The next companion I'm attempting (Polly, from 1966) only has a handful of publicity photos, all widely used. And most of her stories don't exist visually. So she'll be a challenge, to say the least!

You're welcome.
Ahh, I don't think I've heard of her. And it does sound like she'll be a challenge so good luck.

It's the best TV show isn't it? And the TARDIS is the longest running character in it!

I think it is great that Doctor Who has been responsible for a regrowth in Saturday night sci-fi dramas. Makes a change from the endless 'talent' shows we get - but no, nothing will ever take its place!

I didn't really know much about David Tennant before he became the Doctor, but I agree, he has certainly made the part his onw!
