Tira may look all smiles and rainbows, but in truth, she's an incredibly shy chipmunk. She was born a white witch to a pair of witches who don't care much for magic themselves and haven't supported her talents so far; she can create* a pretty pond in the course of an afternoon and a small glade in a weekend, but all Mom and Dad want to talk about is math homework, science projects, and her dislegsheuh. Tira spends a lot of time with her cousin Dante , a squirrel witch about her age who has an autumn-themed dragon familiar... You'll probably see him a lot in her literature.
Tira loves showing off her cool magic, but she's a bit shy about introducing people to Boat... not many people know who her familiar is until Tira introduces her directly. Whether Tira's parents even remember or care about Boat's existence is unknown. Tira has been alive for over fifty years now, yet spends a surprising amount of time attending school in a form that seems to be 6 or 7. Whether her parents have noticed or even care (considering they are also witches who age very slowly) is equally unknown.
Despite the youthful appearance of her preferred form, Tira is exceptionally skilled with her elemental magic. Because of this, she was sought out by Cleo: an ex-black witch seeking education in white magic, and Tira enjoys teaching her everything she knows. She also LOVES brewing potions- Tira doesn't know much about them, but Cleo helps her out in that regard. It's an odd power dynamic, but it works for them. Notably, Tira is also friends with the traveling husky/fox hybrid Skylar, and often tries to advise him in his aura reading (and attitude). Skylar tolerates her even though he claims he wants her to leave him alone.
Tira likes to draw and watch cartoons, but she spends her non-summer days in school where she can be praised and receive stickers for her creative projects (she especially loves science fairs). In her free time, Tira also enjoys collecting Lilyscouts Badges and playing D&D with Dante, Cleo, and Skylar. Tira and Dante use their earth, water, and fire magic to bring their environments to life and she often invites Cleo to do the same with... mixed results. The four plus familiars altogether make an oddball friend group, but hey... Who doesn't?
* Once I perma-potion some masteries on her, they will be applied retroactively for story purposes. Canonically Tira has been able to create elements for years and is skilled in this, but elemental creation will not be mentioned in story until the mastery potions are approved

~ HISTORY ~
Tira grew up in Flareville, a small desert community not far from Robin 's home of Radiance Town, actually. Her parents never felt they had the finances to move anywhere else, but when they heard Lilypad was re-opening, they gave it a try.
Both Tira's parents work and she has no siblings, so she is often overlooked until loud noises reminds them she exists. This has given her plenty of time to spend with Boat, and the pair often join Tira's cousin Dante and his familiar (Auburn ) in exciting adventures. Several of Tira's ancestors remain alive thanks to the slow aging of witches, and Boat and Tira visit them occasionally to learn magic from the experts. And also to, like, get food.
Tira has always remained under the radar in Lilypad, keeping Boat away from prying eyes and trying not to draw too much attention to herself. Since Sparrow's arrival, she has started to be more open about her identity and magic. She thinks Boat is very cool and doesn't mind introducing people to her, but feels uncomfortable if people gawk or hound her with questions. She spends a lot of time with her cousin Dante, but frequently hangs out with Cleo and Skylar as well. They play D&D every Friday evening at Cleo's place (when Skylar is around to DM).
