Couldn't let it rest...Saw the film and was quite impressed with the performance of Jackie Earl Haley as everyone's favorite vigilante, Rorschach.
So, I suppose that this is my little tribute to him. Beaten, a little busted, but still standing and rarin' for another go. He seems to have got a nice thwack in the nose and a busted lip, but I'd hate to see what he did to the other guy...
Technically speaking, it's a bit of an experiment. The textures are all crayon or colored pencil, while the base colors are markers. Overall, lots of fun!

I was impressed with Jackie Earl Haley too, especially when he was unmasked. He looked just like Walter Kovacs/Rorschach! That was exciting.
Great job! Rorschach is definitely my favorite of the Watchmen.

I know, I want to be him for Halloween. What sucks is, I wear glasses, so I guess I'll be wearing a mask and glasses over it. lol *not a fan of contacts*

I'm not quite so blind that I have to wear my specs all of the time, so I might actually manage it for awhile. Never got the hang of contacts either...just seemed like another expensive hassle to me.

Contacts seemed too much of a hassle to me, too. It's easy to get up in the morning and put on your glasses, as opposed to taking contacts into the bathroom to make sure you put them on correctly. Maybe I'll look into laser eye surgery.

You guys ought to look into extended-wear contacts. Mine, I only have to take out and clean once a week for a couple of weeks, then toss them.
And *knock on wood* no problems with eye infections so far, though everyone says you're way more likely to get them with contacts you sleep in (even ones designed to be slept in).
I want the LASIK or whatever someday, but besides not being able to afford it, I'm pretty scared of having a laser around my eyeballs...
