Yup, he is ugly, but his voice makes up for it
Besides, we all know that all Erik wants is just a good, warm, loving hug!

Wow, really intense. I love the dramatic colors and the two different eye colors. It's so interesting to look at...Love it!

....but his voice filled my spirit with a strange sweet sound, in that night there was music in my mind,
and through music my soul began to soar, and i heard as id never heard before...

poor guy. That movie is so sad. MUUUUUUHHHHH
Love the illus though. Nice colour scheme. I know what you mean by more drama, though. But it's not that bad, really.

Your Erik is just so amazing. All the time.
I scrolled up to find one specific thing I love about this, but I can't. I love all of it.

Aaaah. It never seems to get old! I absolutely love the hints of yellow in the skin; it really gives it a deliciously sickly feeling to it. Again, you seem to portray emotion in the eyes like I didn't think was possible, too! Love how they're multicoloured.
The mussed and crooked teeth and crumbled lip are really nice details I see gone by the wayside far too much. <33 And those hands are absolutely georgous. You have such a good handle over your shadows.

You know, I was just sitting there thinking as I sketched...
'It's the 19th century. He lives alone five cellars down after a previous life of abuse, mistrust and debauchery. Dental care and nutrition wasn't really much of a thing back in the day. He'd have bad teeth.' ..So, there you have it.
Thank you on the hands, they're actually my least favorite part of the piece. ::furrows brows:: One is far too small. I really should learn to quit second guessing the sketch.
