I decided to make a background for my Tumblr ( [link] ) today. It's just a doodle, but it's got perty colors and stuff, so I decided to upload it. 8D; And to be honest, it's better than all of the other art on the blog. I just doodle silly things on there if I draw at all. XD; It's more of a humor thing than an art thing.I actually grabbed the colors for my hair and skin from a photo, so... yeah. I dunno why I felt that important. But I guess it's a fun bit of trivia to throw around.

I didn't advertise it a ton. XD I sort of made a journal here and on FA, and that was that. XD But I'm posting my silly stories there more than dA's journal now, so yeah.

...though I might reply / ask questions in a note here or something, because I like talking to my friends about what happens but I don't like Tumblr's comment(does it count as that?) system...

Even Facebook's comment system can't compare to dA's neat notification system, in my opinion...~ So I dunno if I'm judging Tumblr fairly or not. But that doesn't mean I WANT to comment there...

Hmm. I've never used Facebook, but I have to agree that I prefer dA's system to some others. FurAffinity's comes to mind - it's okay, but dA's is easier to use.

From what I saw on pages you linked to, FurAffinity's is nicer than Facebooks, because it has that... "stagger" effect. Facebook's is just "comments in a line yay". Regardless of which comment you're actually responding to. 8P

I was more thinking of the comment notification system - dA lets you see the comment and respond to it in the message center, whereas FA-- er, I would give you a screenshot of it if I actually had any messages now. XDDD It just tells you something like "[name] left a comment(/replied to your comment) on [name's/your] submission/journal" with a link directly to their comment, and then you have to go back and delete it manually. It's not bad, dA's is just better. XD
