In case youΒ΄re having a hard time figuring out where the shading should go in your standard humanoid drawings, this is a small guide to the most common shades you`ll find.Done for a friend, might be of use to you.

YouΒ΄re welcome! But remember this is just a guideline for common places, try to add more layers of shading, mixing and matching, observing and referencing from real life, that will be the ultimate tutorial!

This is still a good beginning for me My characters are still in static poses, if i can get basic shading down, once I start making them more interesting, it'll be easier to experiment with shade, than if I waited till then and started from scratch, if that makes sense.

Thanks for appreciating it! But don`t stick just to this, mix, experiment, and most of all, observe from real life! Drawings made out of drawings don`t help you progress much if you are not aware of where it comes from
