Once again, ~rynluna1987 is to blame for this one. She's a bad influence on me
This is pretty much the result of our silly musings during Gears 3 multiplayer, and a pairing I'd been meaning to do for a while - though I hadn't imagined my first pic of them would be so...well...yeah
Always been a fan of the games, and believe it or not, despite the assumption that the Gears games are just muscleheaded dudebro fodder, the third game is actually far better in terms of female equality than Mass Effect is.
On the one hand, Ashley Williams and the stupid outfit of doom - on the other, Anya Stroud and Samantha Byrne wearing identical armor to their male counterparts. Kinda embarrasing when your game is upstaged by Gears of War on the gender equality front.
And yes, I will be drawing them armored up at some point. But as I said above, you know who to blame for this pic's rather naughty slant

the mass effect comment is so true. of course it doesnt mean they are completely safe fro sexualization but hey its better then most. Anya, Sam, Bernie, Valera. thats 4 major characters that are female. They dont even change what the game is about that much. I could type an essay but im not going to and will just leave it at that. also: imagine Baird or for giggles Clayton walking in with his helmet still on lol wut?

I really like how the scene seems to be a RESPITE to all that is happening in that universe not to mention "safer" than being with a guy if it's before the end of GoW3 and well done on the water excellent work!

Not to take away from your point about the way they dress in the game but a current study finds that women in military are badly in need of redesigned armor that better fits their bodies as oppose to using the same kind of equipment that men use. Mainly for the fact that the armor is uncomfortable on their hips and chest resulting in hampered physical performance. Ironically, its fitted breast plates more in the style of Ashley Williams boob armor than what is currently being issued that works better. Granted, the exterior can be left designed like the male/current counter parts while the interior can be redesigned to better fit women so that they could better move around in heavy body armor in the style like Gears without anyone ever knowing the subtle difference in how it fits and performs.

This must of happened while on Vectes, cause Im sure as hell that their wasn't a shower room like that on Soveregin. But this is very hot and way better than any Mass Effect 3 romance scene.
And Yeah, ending of Gears 3 was way better than the Mass Effect 3 ending.
