Inspired by Tron, I had fun creating characters for the programs of my laptop. The more I thought about things that my comp had been through - that time I got a bad virus, the incredible improvement of upgrading from Vista to Win7, cracked programs I've downloaded - the more interesting it was to think of them as events and dramas played out by people. It's really fun, you guys should try it!Btw Atrus is so tall cause my laptop is HUGE. The guy who sold it to me described it as more of a portable desktop than a laptop - true dat!
And the deal with CAS is I customized my sound scheme to address me by name (so instead of the win startup sound, a female voice says "Systems online. Welcome, Rachel.") So of course I had to design the person saying these things.

I think Atrus might have sounded better as Artus (just me?)
Anyway, I'm considering writing a tron based FanFic and I was wondering if I could use these characters in it? They're pretty darn good. (credit will be provided)

This reminds of OS-tan in a good way. Nice designs. I like Atrus and Cas and IDK what those are. I like how he looks so official and mature and her flowing outfit's so pretty.

Atrus 2.0 has an awesome outfit. He would wok well in my Tron 2.0 map theme named YCP.
I like C.A.S. as a concept as well.

I completely don't trust them after three of our laptops now, from them, have crapped out. Usually it's the screens for some reason.

Well spotted! Yep, I based him on the physical appearance of my laptop which is black with white power lights...and an Aperture logo sticker. I also have a companion cube sticker and originally named my laptop GLaDOS. I'm a doooork.
