Unlike the show, the comics have an explanation for Luna's space-mane! She gets it after everyone believes in her really hard and she finally forgives herself. Pretty cool. Nightmarity was the best comic, ugh.Untextured thingie.

The whole Nightmare Rarity arc was so interesting.
Though the whole "The Nyx being guardians of dreams" bit is iffy. I would just change that to the Nightmare Force entities just gaining a more peaceful form by Luna or something. Not being creators of dreams or whatever.
One thing I would change about it though is say the Nightmare Forces is remnants of Luna's dark powers of NMM after it got locked away by the Elements rather than being some dark entity out of nowhere that possessed Luna like that.
I just prefer Nightmare Moon being Luna's inner dark self that awoken. Like show Luna's potential with darkness and how it can be wielded on the side of good and such.
