"Did you find anything on your patrol?" Scarlet asked as she walked over to the sewer grating.

"I had to escort three refugees to the police station," Raven replied as they bent down to look into the sewer. Scarlet noticed the rat-man's body lying dead in the sewer water.

"Nice shot, I guess," Scarlet complimented her. "It's one less problem we have to deal with."

"Nice shot?" Raven questioned turning to Scarlet.

"You know, for a human," Scarlet replied, turning to Raven with a nod.

"Do we have to go over this argument again?" Raven demanded as the walked back toward the apartments. "You are human."

"No, I'm not," Scarlet replied soberly. "Humans age, I can't."

"That doesn't make you inhuman," Raven replied. "You have emotions."

"You don't understand," Scarlet said as she she opened the apartment door.

"Scarlet, I found a hit on a tomb that was recently broken into," James called as Scarlet and Raven entered the apartment.
