Kittypet Collar: This is the Kittypet collar that almost killed her. She now wears it as a reminder of her past and what she has become today. The bell is a little beaten up, and the blue collar carries a slight bloodstain to it.
Kittypet Bell: This is the last remind her of her past. During the fight of Babylon, the collar she wore around her leg was lost, but surprisingly the bell was found, which she had fashioned into an earing she now wears in her battered ear.

Scent: The gentle mixture of honey and morning dew.

Neck: The scar around her neck is the result of her kitten(Kittypet) collar that as she grew became to tight for her. And as she grew it slowly grew into her neck, slowly choking her, if it hadn't been for Moosestep she would been dead a long time ago.

Orchid is the calmest cat you could meet, though this will not stop her from reprimanding you if you even think about putting a paw out of line or disrespect her family. So be careful to tread around her, she may seem the most laid back cat around, and she may be the calmest cat, but she is a cat that can handle herself and kick ass, even when her back is turned to you.

{Dependable/Reliable}
Dependability is something that Orchid had learnt from Moosestep, though this is not her greatest atribute; she tried her best to be as reliable and dependable as she can. But she a cat that spent most of her life alone, it makes it quite hard. But she is learning and getting better at it.

{Blunt/Stern }
Her past as a Loner has taught her to be blunt as living in the most hostile places and moving about and not having a stable home can have its flaws (it taught her that you have to keep yourself safe) and now she has a family she protects them too. So don’t take it to heart when she speaks bluntly to you, it’s just a flaw that she has to get better at.

{Reserved/Distant }
Orchidpetal is quite a reserved cat, and this is something you will see a lot. Though if spoken to she will speak back. Relationships need to be built on trust with this cat. And it’s a trust that is not easily gained. But she is getting better. Though she still struggles with crowds. And this is also because of her past and being shunned and abused by the two-legs she used to live with, her past like if forgotten, as she tries not to remember it but it has made her quite distant as she finds it hard to talk to others.

Orchidpetal is rather quite a quiet cat this is a trait that goes hand in hand with her Distant nature, her past has made her this way, and means that she is quite withdrawn and she only speaks to those she is comfortable with, this can be quite a bad trait as communication can break down when she is with a cat she doesn't know very well. But though her work she is different, if a cat needs something the she is happy to help them though she is a cat of simple and few words, and will get straight to the point with no beating around the bush.

This is a new trait to the she-cat and has only presented itself when she came to Safe Haven. I suppose one could call it protective. And she is. She will protect anyone she is close to. And this will lead into her hot-temper and feisty nature. The one thing her daughter has too picked up.

Petal was born into a small household. She was part of an unplanned litter. Though her father was unknown to her. Her mother loved her and her brothers and sisters.

The family they lived with were small and always seemed shut off from the world. The hated her and her siblings. And often just shoved them outside with their mother. From a young age. Petal and her siblings had to learn fast about how to handle themselves in the ways of the steep kittypets.

It wasn't until her mother was found dead that the family of two - legs turned on her and her siblings. Thought they had been lavished as kits they were now older and no longer wanted. So the two - legs kicked them out on the street.

They 5 kits stuck together but were soon picked off one by one. Her brothers killed by street dogs while protecting their 3 sisters (Orchid sustained her broken tail at this time). One of her sisters had been picked up as a stray. And the other just vanished. Petal was on her own now. And wandered for many days. Her small kitten collar slowly digging it way though the flesh of her neck.

She carried on for as long as she could, hopping from one place to the next never staying in one place fore to long, all what her mother had taught her and all that she had learnt along the way, was now all she knew, her life as a Kittypet/Loner was over, she had become a rouge ... a loner.

And when the calamity hit everything she knew changed forever, though she carries on, her energy was low her body wracked with pain as the collar was now embedded. Lying down in the roots of a now-turned-ashen tree, she drifted into unconsciousness only wanting one thing, to see her family again, to be with them once more. She lay there was waited for death to take her. But it never came. Though she could faintly remember a voice, maybe that of a male voice softly speaking to her, telling her things would be okay, that he would be right here waiting for her to wake up. She felt comforted; she thought it was her brother.

But when she woke days later, the scent of iron filling her nose, she knew there was fresh kill about and ate heartily. Just as a large hulking figure appeared before her. She still thought it was her brother, she wasn't hostile. She was calm.

When the male introduced himself as Moosestep, she knew something then and there, but she wasn't going to admit it. After all she had spent so much time on her own. Star-clan only knows how she made it though.

Moosestep and Petal traveled together from that point onwards. Never once having had a hostile relationship with one Another, she learnt things from him and she taught him a few things too. Together they made it though each day wondering when their end was coming, they had no home, nothing. Except the few Ashen they were feeding on every couple of days or when they could find a food source. Their water intake was sparse as all the water had become cloudy with Ask. Still they make it though each day. Moosestep had even given her, her own warrior name Orchidpetal.

It had been a few months of them travelling together and neither one of them could deny their feelings any longer, if this was to be their end then they'd make the most of it. It was that day they became mates. And not longer after 3 kits followed, sadly only one survived. Tigerpaw.

That was when the call came and they knew they were going to be safe. And it was Safe Haven they found. And soon began to thrive, once more.

|Babylon and Beyond|

Through Babylon Orchidpetal has overcome her quite a few of her flaws and fears.
What has she learnt?

Floor One: Orchid learnt that as lost as you feel or how much you feel yare being watched, keeping a cool-level-head. will get you back on track.

Floor 2: Orchidpetal has completely overcome her fear of being a coward, she will stand up for herself if confronted, and she will now also stand up for those who she is close to. Though there may still be some time she will be scared, she is no longer a coward, and will not run and hide.

Floor 3: Orchidpetal has learnt that no matter the scars you carry, they are what made you, you, they are a part of you life that has proved that you are a survivor.

Floor 4: Orchidpetal has learnt that fear shouldn't control you, it should be something you run from it should be something to confront and embrace to overcome it.

Floor 5: Orchidpetal has learnt that dreams are not the main focus of ones life, they should not control every fibre of your being, let it go and live for what you have. Its that which matters.

Floor 6: Orchidpetal found that she had something deep within her that she did not know. She deep-down was confident, and had kept that part under wraps for so long that she forgot that she was once confident. She had rediscovered that part of her.

Floor 7: Orchidpetal participated in the battle against Nicholas' Guardian.

[Crafting] Orchidpetal tends to focus more of crafting with plants. She found a talent for this when she entered Safe Haven. She has also found she is quite adept at intricate and delicate crafting. She tends to like making things that suit cats and their personalities, and is quick to take commissions from cats if they approach her. She uses her powers where needed and it happy to weave an enchantment if wanted.

[Socialization] Orchidpetal is not one to talk freely, this stems from a long time she spent on her own as a loner, though she is getting better at it. She will talk freely when spoken to or asked something, this she-cat may need some coaxing to communicate, and with focus at hand that will be what she talks about.

[Battle] Orchidpetal will try to think of a fast plan and then take the offense when she does; she only has one thing on her mind to protect her family and those who gave her a second chance at life.

[Hunting] Swift to Kill, though she would not take the meal unless she knows her family has eaten, though she will eat if first if the need arises.
