My contest entry for .The idea was that you took your favorite character/characters from Dennou Coil and drew them as the opposite gender.
From the left: Takeru, Isako, Haraken, and Yasako.

THIS IS SO STRANGE.
But don't get me wrong! I had a lot of fun doing this!
Sorry about the crappy coloring...Again I'm making up excuses, but I don't have a nice software that can clean my pieces up or a tablet that I can draw smoothly with.
Both Isako and Yasako(it just doesn't sound right using their girly nicknames when they're guys in the picture) are holding pieces of chalk, and Isako is teaching the others about encoding, and perhaps how to solve a specific problem, because the atmosphere in the back gives off a sort of terrorizing scene; so maybe they're trying to erase some sort of new virus that's spreading(the black and red) by using the encoding.
Well whatever the outcome, this was still a good experience. Markers, colored pencils, and pastels were used.

Don't be discouraged just because you can't draw encodes! I haven't watched a lot of FMA to know what you're talking about...But I just took a sample of the encodes off the anime and sort of built off of that.
But I draw what I feel like, I mean, you probably know that forcing yourself to draw something doesn't exactly give you the best product...

First of all, I happened to get into a lot of detail in this because I had a lot of time on my hands and I also wanted to "perfect" things and make things look "fancy" to impress people so that I would get more votes in the contest...Which I probably will not anyway.
Second, our styles and interests are quite different! We have some of the same interests, but you're familiar with other things that I'm not aware of that influences your art...So...Opinion definately plays some part in this as well and...
Ugh...Anyway...Confidence! CONFIDENCE! You're extremely gifted and you shouldn't be discouraged by someone like me!

By saying you're familiar with things that I'm not, I mean that maybe you've gotten more education than I have in a specific field, or maybe you watch different shows, or maybe you've experienced other things(like the death of more than one friend), been to more places than I have, etc.
I lack in confidence as well, but that shouldn't keep you from pressing forward! You shouldn't give up when put down by negative thinking!

Yeah I'll be uploading the other one too...I liked this one better because the characters were better positioned, colored, etc.
I think I read somewhere that you could enter as many entries as you like...Do you know if that's true? I read the journal at the club about the contest and now I can't find it...Well I suppose that I could ask myself...
