Actually, I finished this a few months ago, but didn't want to put it up until I got some requests done...Hiccup and Astrid from How To Train Your Dragon(Dreamworks).
I adore these two...
Wedding Reception!!
Or the ceremony itself?
...Or something of that sort...
I've looked up a thing or two about Viking weddings, but I don't think couples exchanged drinks between them as vows...I don't know.
They aren't young-ins anymore...
A few drinks later, and Hiccup is getting... excited, so to speak...
Sorry about the paper being wrinkly. I used watercolor on paper that was NOT watercolor paper("Oh sure, it'll be fine...AHHHH!!"), and couldn't flatten it out well enough.
I've learned my lesson.
And Astrid's legs are MONSTROUS. Well, she IS supposed to be muscular...Eh, whatever.
pencil, colored pencil, watercolor, acrylic paint, black fine-tipped pen.

The amount of detail in this is astounding, especially in the fur. I love the background too, the swirly designs are great. I actually faved this yesterday I think but kept thinking about it and had to comment on this. You really did a phenomenal job on this

The texture on Hiccup's vest is great, and I'm loving how you drew his prosthetic leg. I couldn't draw that thing if my life depended on it, it's so darn fiddly!
There's just one thing, maybe his boot is a little big? Hahaa, or maybe that's just me.

Everything about their body positions are very expressive--how Hiccup's eyes are shielded and Astrid looks distracted enough that she might spill her drink all over him. I think the colors are great too - the texture on Hiccup's fur vest is amazing!
