I did something somewhat similar to this for Mother's Day([link] ), and thought that I should do something for Father's Day.I don't like this one as much as I did the Tarzan one...
Too cluttered, too stiff.
Meh, I wanted to get it done, I got it done.
Treasure Planet is one of my favorite movies, and I'd always wanted to finish a piece that reflected the relationship between Jim and Silver.
Silver came to be a father figure to Jim, who had always struggled because his biological father left him.
My favorite line from the movie:
"Now, you listen to me, James Hawkins. Ye got the makings of greatness in ye, but ye got to take the helm and chart yer own course. Stick to it, no matter the squalls! And when the time comes ye get the chance to really test the cut of yer sails, and show what yer made of! Well, I hope I'm there, catching some of the light coming off ye that day."
