very interesting subject! i like the curve in the axe. nice perspective as well.

this is a busy picture though, i'd try cropping the blurred wood to the right as well as some from the top...but then that would create an entirely different concept.

another thing you could have tried would've been to put a bit more focus on the chopped wood and seeing more of the axe; the position of the axe on the photo (along with the focus) creates a sort of division that my eye tends to stay on.

these are just my ideas. it would be cool to see you try them out but it's all good. i see what you were going for and again, it's a great subject.

I know what kind of effect you were going for, but I think there is just too much blurriness in the piece; it distracts the viewer a bit too much. Only a little small part of the axe isn't blurred, which is confusing if someone is first looking at it.
