Last night I was researching the sphere and Octahedron Intersecting (with congruent volumes) on line,of which there is ZERO information,and went to bed frustrated.Somewhere in the middle of the night I woke up bolt upright with the revelation that one of my hanging sphere's in my studio could be used as a jig to fabricate the octahedron within it using stainless rod.So I went after it this morning and managed to manifest my vision...The sphere was made a few years back to illustrate CUBIC SYMMETRY.The fact that the OCTAHEDRON fits perfectly within it gives an indication of the relationship between the CUBE and the OCTAHEDRON,two of the five Platonic Solids.In Sacred Geometry terms,they are in fact duals of one another...
