hey i have an idea for a parody pic that you could use it.
Ever heard of Treasure Planet? Well... you could put Flap, Bubby and K'nux in that scenario n style, and Bubby could be one of those Space Whales from the movie. but the thing is that Flap would be resembling James Hawnkins and K'nux would be resembling John Silver and he even could have cyber legs n arms just like him, but this time you could make him with blue skin (i know, it's actually his beard) since Silver have an orange skin cuz, you know, his an alien, and you could make K'nux beeing this kind of alien, only with blue skin.
Also, in the background, Nova-a-Long Harbor, resembling the half-moon shape Space Port. Just an idea...

Actually, this is not what the creator said.
I asked him:
"By the way, is Captain K'nuckles blue skin the result of a very thick beard?"
He answered: "yes... well very thick whiskers..."
Ok, not a exactly a pirate beard, but not a blue skin either.

Ohhh. Well thank you for telling me that. I never questioned why K'nuckles was blue. I thought that was his natural skin color. XD

No problem at all.
It was a hard time for me as well to figure it out what to do about his blue skin at the time I did the drawing.
I also didnt know what to do. But I saw that information about his beard on wikipedia.
But I was thrilled to see that the very creator of the series actually saw and liked my artwork, here on deviantart website.
Obviously I used the opportunity to ask him about this issue.
