This is stunning! The reflections of the water are so smooth, and her HAIR! Beautiful. All around this piece is gorgeous. I absolutely love the tattoos/markings on her skin and I like all the little details that you put into this, like earrings and even the most subtle glow of light. -What might make this even better is maybe some bubbles or more transparency in the water behind her; while it does look very nice, it seems a little flat compared to the water's surface (?) at the top of the picture. Anyways, I love the color pallet that you chose for this, the warm tones of her hair and skin and markings, mixed with the cool tones of the water make for a nice contrast. Very well done!! ^_^

Yeah, lots of photos. One for each subject. I often use photos for different purposes. For example, I used one photo just to help me with her mouth.
I think you always have to collect a big pool of references before starting every illustration. But its also important to not become a hostage of photos.
References should be a support in the later stages of the illustration to help to achieve a greater level of realism in the finishing touches, but it is my opinion that the artist should avoid it in the early stages to let the creativity run free.

Sim, falo sim. Minha família é quase toda de Portugal. Tenho parentes de Trás-os-Montes e Açoures. Alguns em Lisboa também. Inclusive também tenho cidadania Portuguesa.
Mas eu moro no Brasil, Rio de Janeiro. Também morei um tempo em Londres. Ví que você visitou lá. Gostou?

Se gostei? Epa adorei! Aquilo é simplesmente brutal, o tempo é pessimo e a comida pronto é para esquecer, mas de resto é muito fixe, muito civilizados, são complemamente diferentes. O que mais gostei é a multicultura daquela cidade

Engraçado a coincidência. O pessoal de trás-os-montes ainda mora por lá, apesar de que muitos se mudaram pra Lisboa. Já a família da minha avó dos Açores saiu toda de lá. Uma pena, é um lugar fantástico e seria legal ter moradia de graça por lá pra visitar.
Londres é mesmo um lugar fantástico. É mesmo surpreendente como a cidade consegue ser tão civilizada e organizado mesmo em meio a toda aquela bagunça multi-cultural. Sobre a comida, pode ser excelente, desde que você sempre vá a restaurantes étnicos geridos por estrangeiros. Londres na verdade é um ótimo ligar pra se comer o melhor da cozinha do resto do mundo, inclusive portuguesa. Espero que vc tenha ido nos principais museus (na minha opinião national gallery, portrait gallery e tate classic)

sim a comida so mesmo nos restaurantes etnicos, no entanto ja me disseram k fora de londres nas cidades mais pequenas come-se mt bem, portanto estou curioso, como vou la muitas vezes, visto que a minha irma mora la, devo ter oportunidade.
Ja estive no national gallery, natural history museum, no museu de cera, aindan ao fui ao oceanario nem ao tate classic. No entanto fui ao museu de design e adorei e andei a rapinar todas as lojas onde se vendia banda desenhada, sendo a Forbidden planet a melhor do genero
