This was originally a doodle I drew when I was bored in May 2017, and since I was away from anything that I could use as a reference, I just drew Sash Lilac from Freedom Planet (well, more like Freedom Planet 2) based on what I could recall. I remembered that her hairdo is drastically different in 2 than 1, her horns are longer, her headphones (or whatever they are) are different and have white pointy bits, and she now wears a white kimono with blue accents, but with her blue boots rather than sandals or anything of the sort.

Well, turns out I was way off, but I was still pleased on how it turned out. I decided, some time later, to color this in digitally, partially to make it feel complete and partially because, I must admit, I am very, very used to traditional media and not at all used to drawing digitally. This was done using a Samsung Galaxy Note Pro SM-P900, on the program ArtRage (which, frankly, feels rather limited).

All in all, I think I inadvertently drew Lilac to look even older than she looks in Freedom Planet 2. Here, she carries the demeanor of an adult, perhaps even like a mother.

Perhaps later on, I'll reimagine Carol and Milla (and Spade and Neera and Torque and the others) in this style.
