The thing that doesn't make sense is that its implied that project freelancer destroyed florida to cover for Flower's disappearance. Even if I bought that they have the resources to do that, wouldn't it be WAY easier to get a decoy, dress him in the same exact armor, and then make it look like he was killed by the insurrection, or by the Meta?

I would like to add, that none of the Freelancers or Simulation soldiers were SPARTANS in any way. In fact, Project Freelancer's Agents were more akin to ODSTs than Spartans anyway.

Spartans are the super soldiers that saved humanity. ODSTs also saved humanity. The entire UNSC saved humanity, hell, the ELITES saved humanity.
The Spartans and ODSTs did their duties like soldiers. Nothing more can be asked or demanded of them.
Besides, Spartans are less insane. The Orbital Drop Shock Troopers had a habit of being messed in the head, if only a little bit.

well, being dropped from orbit in what amounts to a glorified steel coffin with afterburners with a 30% chance to incinerate in atmosphere or end up underground turning it into an actual coffin kinda does that to a person.

The Meta and Washington are not canon, knucklehead. I was talking canon. In Red vs Blue, the ODST is barely touched upon at ALL. They just use their armor as a common template.
