What is the the crown anyways and where and when did he get it and other questions I could ask about he crownΒ .. I hope one day we will see it's orgins that will explain why it made him a kook...

Simon (the ice king) got in Scandinavia and was warned against it but he ignored them and put it on his head and that made him go insane which caused his fiancΓ©e Betty to leave him, Simon then started to gradually change into the ice king we know. The crown gives him similar symptoms of Alzheimer/dementia but when he takes the crown off for a while his thoughts become more rationalised and sensible. And that's all I know about it. :3

I know the history of how Simon got it but what I'm asking where did the crown itself originally come from? Why is it so powerful? Why is it magical when it's clear Simon came from a world like ours?Β But more importantly...Β Who MADE the crown in the first place?Β Why does it's power drive him nuts? those are the kind of questions I'm asking about..

Only if she had something to keep her alive long enough for them to meet again like the Ice King did.. Then maybe she might've been her ... But no.. Doctor Princess is/was/is Β just one of the many princesses they made for Ice King to kidnap.. Though your comment made me remember that without the crown's magic Ice king become Simon.. Most interesting.. Makes me wonder if it's possible that Ice king's appearance is possibly a magicalΒ imprint of the guy who made the crown and we know it changes anyone who wears it long enough... Yes..That is just possible..

At least Marceline tried to understand the Ice King versus Finn, Jake, & Princess bubble gum where they just want to kick his butt without knowing why Simon does what he does....

Weeeeeeeeeellll in fairness, if some creepy old guy kept trying to forcibly marry me/my lady friends, I'd probably want to kick his ass too.
Marceline's naturally inclined to feel sympathy for Simon as she knew him pre-Ice King, and he was a surrogate father to her on top of that. Of course she'd be the more patient with them out of the group.
And maybe it's just me, but Jake and (especially) Finn do seem to be more tolerant and understanding of him after watching his tapes in Holly Jolly Secrets. Sure, there's the occasional fight when warranted, but on the whole he's gone from the butt of all jokes-usually involving getting beat up by the heroes-to a tolerated, if somewhat irksome, presence, as most people seem to recognize that he simply cannot help himself due to an external influence.

simon is still there...he has to be ...ice king keeps trying to find a princess to marry...when in truth...simon is still looking for betty...trying to find his way out of that labryinth in his brain...to regain his sanity ...betty was what kept him going.....marcy represented the hope of remembering the people you care about most...when he was reading the letter he gave to marcy ( the lyrics)..if you looks has expression...it changed...as if he was trying hard to recgognize what he wrote

i have an imagination of the next marcy and I.K. episode,they were walking and walking but suddenly some monster apperead and tried to kidnapped marcy.simon had loss and then something crack at simon and uses his magic

U MISSED THIS??? Well it turned out when marciline was a little girl, and the ice king was still sort of Simon, he pretty much took care of her, but she got scared when he had the crown on, so he wrote notes of apology

Actually that isn't what happened, well sorta, but not really.
There was a gigantic war going on during Marceline's childhood, and he had a weapon(His crown) that allowed him the ability to form ice, and become immortal. However, the crown started to change who he was, and drain away his sanity. It made him forget her, and of their past.

i love this. i also want an episode where he regains his memory. like if they alter the crown to block out its crazy magic but not the magic keeping him alive. that way he can be a hero JUST LIKE FINN ANd JAKE. and marceline can be a hero too. that way they have a full force. finn with his sword, simon with hs ice magic, jake with his powers, marceline with her powers and axe, and maybe even bubblegum with her science. that would be a wicked battle against the lich king dont you think so.
you know what. im not half bad with stories. maybe i will write a fan fic about it. so if at least 5 people message me to do it i will do it.

I would think that if Simon ever does get out through any means, he won't be able to live with himself... He would go off and try to make sense of everything that happened to him, what he did to others, and everything. I know it wouldn't be so story book as him being just fine... It's never that story book.
