Breed: Warmblood mix
Gender: Stallion
History: When still very young his father left and he was left in the care of his depressed and unstable mother. When he was 10 years old his mother got together with another stallion who was then allowed into the herd. It didn't take long for the stallion to show his true colours. He was very agressive and physically abused both Shimi. The physical abuse turned into sexual abuse when Shimi was only 11 years old. He was the stallion's own personal tool and nobody in the herd tried to help him, not even his mother. When not being abused by his step dad Shimi was avoided by others in fear the stallion might hurt them as well. Shimi fell into depression and started suffering from PTSD. When he was 18 years old he managed to get away from his step dad and ran away.
Personality: Quiet, doesn't have any self confidence, gloomy, distrustful.
Mental disorders: Recurrent Major Depressive Disorder & Chronic Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Depressive disorder defined by the following symptoms:
(1) Depressed mood most of the day, nearly every day
(2) Markedly diminished interest or pleasure in all, or almost all, activities most of the day, nearly every day
(3) Significant weight loss when not dieting and decrease in appetite nearly every day
(4) Insomnia nearly every day
(5) Feelings of worthlessness or excessive guilt nearly every day

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder defined by the following symptoms:
A.The person has been exposed to a traumatic event in which both of the following were present:
  (1) The person experienced, witnessed, or was confronted with an event or events that involved actual or threatened      death or serious injury, or a threat to the physical integrity of self or others.
  (2) The person’s response involved intense fear, helplessness, or horror.

B. The traumatic event is persistently reexperienced in one (or more) of the following ways:
  (3) Recurrent and intrusive distressing recollections of the event, including images, thoughts, or perceptions.
  (4) Recurrent distressing dreams of the event.
(5) Acting or feeling as if the traumatic event were recurring.
   (6) Intense psychological distress at exposure to internal or external cues that symbolize or resemble an aspect of the traumatic event.
  (7) Physiological reactivity on exposure to internal or external cues that symbolize or resemble an aspect of the traumatic event.

C. Persistent avoidance of stimuli associated with the trauma and numbing of general responsiveness, as indicated by:
  (8) Efforts to avoid thoughts, feelings, or conversations associated with the trauma
  (9) Efforts to avoid activities, places, or people that arouse recollections of the trauma
  (10) Feeling of detachment or estrangement from others
  (11) Restricted range of affect
  (12) Sense of a foreshortened future

D. Persistent symptoms of increased arousal, as indicated by the following:
  (13) Difficulty falling or staying asleep
  (4) Hypervigilance
  (5) Exaggerated startle response

And this is (hopefully) the final design of Shimi. I changed his colours to slightly more brownish and darkened his back. I've tried a lot of slightly different colours and I think this makes him look slightly better without changing him too much.
