Description
It's Robo!I used to wonder whether he should be drawn in his homedome here, but ~partikl 's suggestion of placing him in his forest was way better.

This looks really nice, and is very inspiring for traditional artists like me. I love Robo's design, too! ^^

I like it the way it is. I don't think you should tweak the gaps. It makes it more of a traditional piece. If you were to "fix" certain things, it would seem more of a digital piece. Which kind of goes with robots, I guess. Lol! But I like this.

this has a cool scratchy style... its so interesting to look at because the drawing tells a story... alot of stuff is better drawn but this has a lot of character development

Wow, this cool, has a 3d blurry textured n64 feel to it, specially the background. Looks good.
using a forest was a cool idea on partikl's part; tired of seeing metal upon metal, maybe some robots enjoy a little fresh air.
About the gaps, why change the nature of colored pencils? If u didn't want the gaps that colored pencils leave, why use 'em? nothing weird.

Well, it makes me think of a taniwha....a taniwha is the traditional 'monster' in Maori mythology, lives in rivers most of the time.
I can see some robot mechanics stuffs in there as well......
Good and bright. Coupled with a story and some more illustrations, would make a good childrens book.

That's a whole lot of words for a simple picture like this!
Very surreal drawing, and delightful mix of colors. Now I know what's your icon all about!
