Great pose and shot! I loved it when they do that too, it's so awesome! And I think it would make a great tattoo too.

Thank you. I was going to have a tat of him where his body was wrapped around my ankle, then crawling up my leg. But I really like how this looks. Prob going to put it on the outer part of my upper left thigh, close to my hip. I my my frog on the other thigh. Trying to keep my tats where I can keep them covered and only show them if I want to.

The hip/outer thigh area sounds like a great place for this tattoo. But even the original idea of a snake going up your legs sounds good too. Good luck!

OMG he does!
I love it when there is little work that has to be done on my end to get a cool pose like this.

Thank you. I love when they make these poses by themselves without any help on my end.

Thank you. I do love BP's as well...one of my fav snake species. They are docile, beautiful and don't get HUGE so very easy to handle.

It always makes me happy, too!
It's like that picture I have of Hatshepsut, my sand boa, in her tank right along side her sphinx. It was a freak happening and I had to get it on camera. :3

Oh that's cool. Do you have that shot up? Going to have to check your gallery!
Speaking of snakes and shots with them with objects...I have Black Jack, the Black-bellied Delta Cal King, out today to try to get some photos of him with a fox skull. Well I also had out Lycan, that baby Granite corn, before hand. Lycan wasn't really in the mood to be posed with stuff so I put him away. Now Black Jack, though a very laid back and easy going snake is still a King and he has shown more then just a little interest in other snakes! I even had to put his tank away from any other snakes b/c he kept trying to get at those that he was next to in the snake rack! And he is only a baby still!
He's got a VERY high prey drive. Well I thoroughly washed my hands of any snake smell got him out and brought him over to the set-up. That didn't go too well.
He went right into hunt and kill mode, biting and striking at the skull, the cloth it was on and even trying to come at me!
Crazy guy! So I had to put him away. I am going to feed him tomorrow and then try again on Sunday with him having a full belly. When he is full he's not near as prey aggressive as he was today. The funniest thing is when I put him back into his tank he gave me a look like, "Hey why'd you put me back?".

I think it's in there somewhere. She just popped up beside the sphinx, it's so cute!
Oh my goodness! He DOES have a strong prey drive! LOL, the poor fellow was bound to be very disappointed when he found none of that was eatable.

Yeah he's definitely tenacious when it comes to food that's for sure! I have been actually trying to get a photo of him biting a small die-cast car of a certain NASCAR drivers...yeah I like NASCAR and I am trying to do it as a joke for a friend of mine. I've try to mouse scent the bumper a few weeks ago with no luck. Maybe in another week or so I'll try again. Only this time scent it with one of my other snakes!

LOL, that sounds like a good idea! It's worth trying, anyways, to see what he does!

Yeah I don't know why I didn't try it all ready. He's food aggressive with mice as it is but if he even sees another snake...it's like he turns into Cujo! Maybe I'll try this week.

Please tell me how it goes! I would love to hear how Cujo-snake reacts to a serpent smelling car.

Oh I will definitely post how it goes. I think he is going to be just as crazed as he was with the snake smelling skull!
And hopefully I'll get a good enough shot of it that I can post here too!
