I think it's just the way the birds are trapped.
I don't really have a reason to fully argue that this is what the piece is about, but that's what first came to mind.

I don't want to be normal because I want to stand out. I want to fly but I am just a girl. I might die trying or succeed I don't know. What ever happens happens... I am a bit crazy too, I just don't show it. Well, *try* not to show it. My ideas are very different than others so it tends to work. Is it weird that I have de-sa-vus a lot? I dream about it a lot. My brain tells me things in critic. That's why I am such a deep thinker and my thoughts scare or sometimes make people sad. The say "why are you so negative?" I want to say " reality can be a rainbow, but like all rainbows it comes after a brute storm. Not all the time. But as quick as it forms. It fades too. But another just appears agen. Repeat." What I end up sayin is "idk" then laugh to make it seem like a joke.

Hmm.. I wonder.
Art is so wide it can transmit all kinds of feelings to people, so forgive me if what I recieved from it wasn't what you were expecting to.

At least for me, I think I can feel a little identified. The past makes us who we are now, habits, likes, ways of living.
Freedom is something that I can feel from the birds in the sky.
I feel like that little girl wants to fly like them (or maybe with them), but can't, because of the dead birds that someone might have killed.  (directly or by influence of someone else).
 It could even be that the birds are like dreams... childhood dreams.
The feeling of having our wings cut inside, that can't let us take off in life, to progress, to move on forward, to have no boundaries, to be free, to be happy.
She can't fly, so she's afraid, because she's still a little girl who's innocent and maybe wants to fulfill those childish dreams.
It makes me feel really sad.

Everyone cherishes these images in their own ways. And that's more than okay!

I like how you interpreted this..
To be honest, I don't really think in words, but in images... and that's what I put down.
So whatever words may be created from these images, I will agree to, because I have no really set "words".

Das ist schon okay... Mach dir kein Kopf.
Ich weiß auch nicht so recht.. so hatte ich es am Anfang interpretiert.. und dann hats sich für mich innerlich verändert... deswegen könnte man vieles damit interpretieren..

das ist auch gut so. jeder hat halt eine andere sicht der dinge und es finden sich dennoch immer ganz viele in deinen Bildern wieder.
das ist wie mit dem Himmel. damit verbindet auch jeder etwas anderes, der ihn betrachtet.

I suppose I'm doing better than I was perhaps 3 months ago..
but my struggles with myself are picking up their pace again, and I am left to contemplate on what to do...
My strength slowly leaves me..
