Description
Atlatopteryx, also known as Hermes's Dragonfly, is a genus of dragonfly that lived in Atlantis during the Late Paleocene. Both species of Atlantopteryx have mark on their thorax which vaguely resembles a letter "X".The meaning of Atlantopteryx sulfuratus name is "Yellow Wing of the Atlantic", and the name of Atlantopteryx cyaneous mean "Blue Wing of the Atlantic".
