Description This was a fun meme! I did it late last night when I was supposed to sleep. Oups.

1. Tove Jansson: Her books about the Moomin Valley are wonderful, and "Who will comfort Toffle" is the best children's Book I know.

2. Disney: Not much to say. I have always loved Disney.

3. W.I.T.C.H. I was a HUGE fan of this comic when I was like 9-12 years old. It was one of the first things that made me want to to comics of my own. (One earlier was Asterix) I wanted to be able to draw like that.

4. Astrid Lindgren IS my childhood. Pippi Longstocking was my first Idol at the age of one (She could LIFT HER HORSE), and later I worshipped Madicken. The voice of Astrid Lindgren is still one of the most soothing things I know.

5. Craig Thompson: I discovered “Blankets” last year, and it is the most beautiful graphic novel I have ever read, both story-wise and drawing-wise. I’m longing for Habibi.

6. Neil Gaiman: I love his books, and his Graphic novels. The Sandman is one of the beast damn things I know.

7. Marit Bergman is my favourite musician. I adore her lyrics and music, and she seems like such a sweet person. I have seen her live twice, and I hope for more.

8. Sandra Beijer aka niotillfem (Ninetofive) is my favourite blogger. I love it when she writes. She always manages to say exactly what I need to hear.

9. Amelie from Montmartre is a beautiful movie that tickles my imagination.

10. Emma Hamberg is a Swedish illustrator and author. She used to illustrate KP, which is a great magazine for children. I love her books and her drawings. I especially love the way she draws people. They’re like real people with flaws and good sides.

11. John Bauer: His pictures are amazing. The atmosphere in them is magical.

12. Lolita fashion: I let the dress of my dreams represent my favourite fashion. This is the apple dress of Metamorphose temps de fille.

13. Ai Yazawa draws the best shoujo. I like the way her characters live ordinary lives, and that their relationships aren’t perfect, which is the usual way in Manga for girls.

14. Studio Ghibli: I love all of their movies. I love the drawings, the stories, the strong female lead characters and the magic.

15. Ranma was the first Manga I read, and the start of a LONG obsession. This is the Swedish cover of the first book. It is kind of lame. I love Rumico Takahashi’s sense of humour, and the way she drew in early ranma and Maison Ikkoku.

16. The journey to Melonia is a wonderful children’s movie that I had when I was a child. It is about a world where the only land left is two islands, one beautiful flowering island and one full of machines and factories. Somehow it seems that most people my age haven’t seen it. I’ve met one other than my brother that has so far.
