Don't worry about your English, the tutorial is very clear because you showed every step with good pictures. And pictures say more than a 1000 words.
I just tried drawing a rose like this. Your tutorial made drawing roses alot easier.
I found it most useful and fun.
Also, congrats with the DD.

wonderful. ^^ that's a good idea for it, i've never seen that technique before.
have you considered getting a beta? someone to help correct your english when you post things here on dA? i would be willing to help, if you would like. it's not hard to understand what you're saying and explaining, but the mind pauses to read it and understand.

Considering that she's from another country and can write English this well, I'm okay with pausing and filling in what isn't there. English is an incredibly hard language to learn. I think her English is phenomenal for someone who's first language is not English.
If she were to get an editor, would it not be in her best interest to pick someone who utilized the language correctly (ex. capitalized the beginning letter of a sentence, correct punctuation, capitalizing proper nouns like 'English' and 'I')?

I don't mind either, and I also think she has a terrific grasp on the English language. My reason for asking is she could eliminate the list in the top of each tutorial to save file space.
Normally, I do capitalize and punctuate correctly. When I don't, it usually is in comments or my journals. My stories almost always have capitalization and spelling, and when I don't, it's usually a typo (eg. "teh" instead of "the" and "tha the" instead of "that he").
I also think you have no right in saying I don't use the language correctly, seeing as you don't know how to properly shorten "example" when writing an example. Small, but a very important, as is the proper usage of tense when trying to tell someone else how to write "properly" and "capitalized the beginning letter...". Just saying.

Ah, I agree, but you're being a little tight. I'm sure Sweetie Pie does know to use proper capitalization and correct punctuation when necessary...

I had no intention of insulting her and I'm sorry if I were insulting (if this even goes through to her on this reply. She's blocked me). I wasn't even talking about her. I was hypothetically saying, if pandabaka were to get one, I'm sure she would choose one who was capable of making sure everyone would understand the tutorial.
I have sent a note expressing my sincerest apologies; hopefully, she'll receive it.
I'm aware I'm fairly uptight about English; my mother majored in English Linguistics and Grammar and taught my brother and I to speak grammatically correct. She also made sure our spelling is superb. We--my brother, my mother and I--actually correct each other's grammar at home and correct newspapers for fun.

Of course you didn't mean any harm. I'm sure she'll read your note and accept your apology. I can understand your stickling when it comes to the English language; sometimes I can't help correcting my friends' grammar either!

I don't even know if blocking users applies to notes, but I hope it doesn't so she can read it; I really wasn't aware.
I think the problem, for me, is that I tend to perceive people's education by how they write comments (well, see the example, this is really the only time it comes into play). If you're going to comment about another's grasp on a language-especially one that isn't their first language-you shouldn't write it all in lower case and ask if they would like you to be their editor. It really isn't giving you any credibility. I forget that I might hurt other people's feelings when I point that out, especially when you consider I was taught pretty formal English grammar. It's something I need to work on obviously.

Well, don't be too hard on yourself. If she still continues to be a tight-ass after you apologized, don't waste your time.
Actually, I know exactly what you mean. I used to have trouble refraining from judging people by the language they use, too. Try to ignore it. People like them are spawning like rabbits and people like you are a rarity. Eventually I learned to just switch on normal-talk (so to speak) while conversing with my peers and switch to formal-talk when necessary.
Don't change just because of this incident. I like blunt people.

Ha ha, blunt is a good word for it. My mom says, "Knowing absolutely no ability for tact." See, the problem is, I have to work on to some degree or I'll never get off my awful new medicine. I actually have high-functing Autism. The judgment and tact thing needs some work as I'm apparently really good at insulting people and not knowing it! I do it without thinking 99% of the time, especially when I write. The only problem with my insults are they are the truth. Ha ha ha!
