Description
I make modular origami in class to keep myself awake. The 3 large balls are 30 pieces each and measure about 4.5 cm across. The smaller two are the size of a quarter and use 6 pieces each.I had more, but I gave seven away for Christmas.
Will maybe add tassels later.

YAY! i'm glad have you trieds it yet? Let me know if you need pointers. This model is kinda hard to put together so you might want to cheat and use glue after you get the hang of the pieces.

trust me - this one even I use glue to make sure it stays together - the pieces lock from the INSIDE of the model so the last piece is virtually impossible to lock right if you do models as small as mine (5 cm diameter).
Haven't tried that "turtle" one that you sent the link for. I know =wolbashi has though I'm saving the link. Maybe I'll try that one at my next business meeting!

you know, I just spent half an hour looking on the internet for you and I can't find it! I thought I saw it somewhere...
Anyway, I'll continue to look for it. For your reference, its a 30 piece modular origami model. The book I learned it from called it a "star kusudama" but the name is sort of a misnomer and also very generic
If you want to check out books, there are diagrams in:
Origami: The Complete Guide to the Art of Paperfolding - Rick Beech - Lorenz Books (Anness Publishing) - ISBN 0754807827
A version is also found in Tomoko Fuse's Unit Origami: Multidimensional Transformations
the book I found it in, I loaned to a friend and it was never returned... Wish I could help more!

Thanks for taking care.
I also spend like 30mins looking for it, bu i found nothing.
So what about making the tutorial?
Just draw it on sheet of paper and foto/scan it, and i will make it photoshop to make it look better?

I could make the tutorial - it's just going to take me a long time to make. The model itself takes about 2 hours to fold and assemble! Unless you know how to assemble it already, and I just have to show you how to make the unit, it's going to be a long process! Do you need it by a certain time?

I think that i can figure out how to assemble it, i jus need to know how to make those modules.
Just make it any time you want

Awesome, those Kusudama things are tricky, especially when they're that small.
