Description
A tutorial on how to fold these nifty hearts with wings. Its not too hard and I think the pictures are detailed enough for a beginner to try and tackle it.Have fun! and let me know if I should make edits!
:
::note2:: I think most of you who have problems with step 11 are due to that you might not understand "reverse fold" in step 9. When you fold the white over the heart, you create a flap. You're going to fold that white flap back to the original position, BUT fold it behind the heart. To do this, you have to change the diagonal fold at the bottom of the flap so it turns itself inside out. It reverses itself. The crease goes from \/ to /\ . Hope that helps
::note3:: Thanks ~crimson-ryu for identifying that the model is created by Francis Ow, an origami master from Singapore. He specializes in heart folds and is pretty cool. See his website here: [link]
PLEASE CREDIT this tutorial if you make something with it. That way we all learn and give credit back to Francis Ow, who works really hard on these!

I learned this model off the web a while back (it was in some asian language xD ) but I'm glad someone here made a tutorial for others that weren't fortunate enough to find it elsewhere.
Linked your tutoria in this deviation by the way.

So at 10, the top of the red triangle is a crease. That is the "joint" that the paper will fold down on in 11. Aka, the crease above the red triangle is the same crease that will fold down in 11. Does that help?

Amazing! I've looked all over the web for one that only needed one piece of paper and didn't have flat wings. Thank you!!

Step 18 is basically making a "fan." You know how you made paper fans as a kid? You're taking the wing part and making zig zag folds until you have a fan! Then pinch and TADA! Wings!

Thank you
I do remember making fans as a kid lol
I made this for someone ages ago, and yeah, i couldn't do the wings, instead i tried to cut curves on the wing parts instead haha.

woohoo! Thanks for the feedback! The wings can be hard, but you can always separate it into smaller sections to make it easier.
