Personality: Summer Dash is confident and skilled, much like her mother. However, she doesn’t let herself become incredibly arrogant. She knows that she isn’t the best, but she hopes that someday she will be. When it comes to spending time with her best friend and step-sister, Spring Breeze, she is much more quiet and calm.

Biography: Summer Dash is the only child born to Rainbow Dash and Fire Streak. Summer was the result of Rainbow Dash and Fire Streak having a quick fling after a Wonderbolts Banquet. A few nights together led to Rainbow Dash getting pregnant. Fire Streak quickly said that he didn’t want to deal with a child and left Rainbow Dash alone.

Terrified and angry, Rainbow Dash turned to Fluttershy who was pregnant with her own child (see Spring Breeze’s bio for more info) Fluttershy was quick to help her best friend and promise they would raise them together. Rainbow Dash spent most of her time with Fluttershy which annoyed Fluttershy’s husband, Open Skies.

When Spring Breeze was born, Open Skies asked Rainbow Dash to give them some space. Rainbow Dash felt guilty but Fluttershy stood up for Rainbow Dash, saying that she needed help. This resulted in an argument with Fluttershy and Open Skies which eventually led to their separation. Distraught, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash comforted each other, always promising to be there for each other.

A few months later, Summer Dash was born and she and Spring Breeze quickly got along. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were overwhelmed with love for their children and the fact that they would be able to raise them together. It was clear the two of them, as well as all of their friends, that there was something stronger between Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. Rainbow Dash finally proclaimed her love for Fluttershy after a Wonderbolt Derby, and eventually the two of them were married
Summer Dash was a strong flyer from the moment she was young, Rainbow struggled to keep her grounded most days. Rainbow Dash knew that she would have a rowdy filly on her hooves from day, but quickly taught her how to fly. Summer Dash then passed on her teachings onto Spring Breeze who struggled with her flying.

Summer Dash quickly realized she wanted to be a Wonderbolt and began practicing to be like her mother, though she idolized Spitfire and hopes to one day be a leader like her. When Summer Dash isn’t training, however, when she isn’t training she loves helping Fluttershy and Spring Breeze with their animals
