Description
Larchkit(named Larchleap here) is finally freed from his mother, realizing that what she's done is wrong.

This is just an au I whipped up with little thought where Larchkit suddenly gets "revived" just before Mapleshade is kicked out of RiverClan. He is almost taken in, before saying he wants to go with his mother. Really he just didn't die, simply passed out to where it seemed like he was dead, while his siblings were in the water for just a little bit longer than him, killing them.
Of course, Darkstar almost didn't let him go, being a kit, but Mapleshade says it's for the best of both of their safety, and they're escorted out of the clan.
Don't question the logic in this, there isn't much.
Mapleshade raises her son as a rogue, teaching him to resent ThunderClan. She also tells him to hate RiverClan, but she mostly focuses on ThunderClan.
Because she's only being "haunted" by the hallucinations of two kits, she only kills Ravenwing and Appledusk to avenge them. She still kills Frecklewish, because she still blames her, but she doesn't get anything out of it. She thinks she wasn't involved enough to save her kit.
Larchkit, Larchpaw, at the time of her death, helped Mapleshade with each one, distracting Ravenwing, claiming he's lost and happened to find the Moonstone, distracting Frecklewish, claiming he wants to catch up with her, that it's been so long since he last saw her, and he misses her, allowing Mapleshade to sneak in and kill her with no snakes, and finally confronting Appledusk, allowing Mapleshade to kill him. So, pretty much, it plays the same, including Mapleshade dying. Reedshine took a hit from Maple, because they were both distracted by Larch, but Maple only managed to hit her side, so it just left a scar.
Just after Mapleshade has died, Myler talk to Larch, and makes him realize that what he helped with was wrong. Because of this, he feels guilty, and goes to the Moonstone, hoping to ask StarClan for forgiveness.
Because he was only a kit, becoming 6 moons the day Mapleshade died, and was so easily influenced, especially because it was his mother, he is forgiven, and told to go to RiverClan. Darkstar has received what I wouldn't call a prophecy or an omen, really, just a kind of message of sorts saying, "hey, take Larchpaw in."
So of course he's let in, and trains to become a Riverclan warrior.
He ends up happily helping out with his half-siblings, who are just a few moons younger than him, and finally, the night before Stormkit and Oakkit are born, he confronts his mother in a dream, and manages to convince her against haunting Appledusk's kin. Because he takes care of the kits so much, he ends up following Stormkit and Oakit, having given in to their pleas because he's soft, and protects them. Therefore Storm doesn't break his jaw, not having to run, and goes on normally in life. Rainflower doesn't neglect him, and he lives a happy life, which is otherwise the same just Stormstar and stuff.
(Finally got around to fixing that part, my bad!)
Larchleap is happy with staying a warrior, not wanting to be leader, anyways, and dies as an elder of old age.

He meets up with his mom sometimes at the border of course, claiming that since she isn't any more evil than he is at this point that she shouldn't be there, but she disagrees because she's Mapleshade. He's also made up with the people he helped die because I need him to have a happy ending.

I didn't exactly know what he looked like, I've never actually read Mapleshade's vengeance, I mostly go off of YouTube and the Warriors wiki, so to make sure he looked like both of his parents and the art I was provided by the wiki, I made this Larch. I like how he came out, he looks like I'd kinda expect him to.
I'll probably make more designs. While I don't do much Warriors content in animations, and when I do, it's just map parts, I'd like to know I have designs up, so I'll do that.
